Ryan Sholin is Strategic Account Manager and Advocacy Lead at Electricity Maps, working at the intersection of energy data, carbon accounting, and climate strategy. He helps companies measure and reduce the carbon impact of electricity and computing, while contributing to emerging standards for measuring the carbon, energy, and water costs of digital infrastructure.
With a background spanning media, technology, enterprise web hosting, and sustainability, Ryan turns complex energy and emissions data into actionable insight, connecting carbon intensity to business decisions, marketing strategy, and product development. He speaks on the geography of electricity, carbon-aware computing, data transparency, the growing energy footprint of AI, and energy policy from the global to the hyperlocal.
