Redesign. Looks good, lets users move around stuff on the homepage, which is cute. I’m still trying to figure out why I like Google News better, ugly as it is, than any other national news site. Big headlines?

I wouldn’t call Newsvine ‘citizen journalism’ or ‘participatory journalism’ as this lede does, but picking up a ‘social news’ site is a smart play: Soon, MSNBC stories will be part of the native wire content on Newsvine.
