Add a point on an embedded Google Map (which sits on a WordPress page) by finding the point on a map embedded in the WordPress Write Post admin screen. Post excerpt displays on the map.
Google is just on a tear this week. Somebody made a speech or something. Lots of new stuff rolling out.
Every time I go hang out in this neighborhood in San Francisco I struggle to find good food and free wifi. No more. Plus I played with the new My Maps bit.
Use the newfangled My Maps feature to create something you can embed, with just a touch of the old copy/paste.
Create and save a map, complete with photos, video, html, etc. I desperately looked for the “Embed this map on your site” button, but it’s nowhere to be found. Pretty sure that should exist, though.
Hmm. Can we feed a published spreadsheet with XML generated from an easier-than-google database? Or should we should build a spreadsheet and hide it? thx Matt!
