Ryan, as they say “Great minds think alike!” And as @Stammy said, we already did here in Atlanta at http://ignitionalley.com/.

My partner in Ignition Alley @timdorr has a web hosting business but my plan was to launch a training business in 2010. And maybe you’ve got something there with the funding ideas.

Interesting idea Ryan. Atlanta just got a new co-working space (http://IgnitionAlley.com) and one idea they had been bouncing around was having web workers sponsored by less tech savvy, older folks that would like a few hours per month of one-on-one training in whatever tech they wanted, by the web worker they were sponsoring.

This particular co-working space doesn’t have funding, but instead one of the founders moved his company to the building (pretty big) and they are the primary tenants for it.

Yes!!!

Very newsroom cafe. Whatever you want to call it (co-working space, cafe, bar, etc) we need a phyiscal space to match our online meetings. Newsrooms have a natural advantage to provide this – but coworking spots could very easily do that too.
